Almost 2!

Well a lot has changed in not even half a year! The biggest change is that we moved into a new house! It just was the right time and we ended up getting a bigger house for oliver that has a big backyard and is right next to the neighborhood pool! He really loves it and we are finally getting art and photos hung up on the walls to make it really feel like home. I think it fits us so well. 

Oliver is basically talking in sentences now! Which I have heard from many people is quite accelerated for this age. He seriously blows my mind everyday. Frank and I just stare at each other in awe! He loves tractors and cars. He gets really excited when we tell him we are going to a new town and loves sitting and reading books with both of us. He has all of his friends at daycare that he really gets along with and loves to see Kathy every weekday. We are so blessed to have such a well behaved (most of the time) big guy. He just started showing signs of the terrible twos with attitude coming out and defiance! If he does not want to do something we certainly have a problem! Plus, he is a real picky eater these days! Haha I am looking forward to his 2nd birthday and everyday that he gets smarter and smarter! Love him soooo much!

1.5 years old!

Ok I am surprised that I even remembered to post. Life is at a completely accelerated pace. Maybe that is why some people don't have children because your life seems to go by at twice the speed of normal! Haha 

Oliver just had his 18 month doctor appt today and he is a healthy 31 pounds. He is talking like crazy and learning to make all sorts of weird sounds and sticking out his tongue! He sure says NO a lot but really actually is a good boy with very good manners. He is (I know I have said this before) an amazing joy. His smile is so contagious. He takes after his father in so many ways especially his happiness. He takes after me because he is so smart haha

He is so much fun everyday and I can't wait to see his face when we come home from work and on the weekends I don't want to spend a minute away from him!

1 year old!

He is a little man already. I sat on 10/30/14 and remembered the moments that I knew I needed to get ready to go to the hospital at 7:20am. I remembered the car ride that felt like a million miles but was only 15 mins to the hospital. Being at the hospital shaking because of the adrenaline. And of course the epidural that I opted for but found out that only about 30% of it actually took. And then the pushing for what seemed like forever and just when I thought I didn't have anymore in me and that I was going to pass out... There he came, they say him on my chest and he was so tranquil, not crying at all, and I was amazed at how big he was and how gorgeous! 

It has been one year since all of that but it feels like it was yesterday. I know that is was intense and painful but all of that is a small price to pay for a child.

Oliver is talking and walking. He loves to be outside and absolutely loves his day caregiver Kathy and all the kids there. I am so glad we found her. She loves him as if he were her own son.

We had a great carnival theme party at home for him, and now we are on our way to amas house to celebrate with them. 

I can't wait to see what every day brings!

I'm more in love every day!

9 months!

Tomorrow Oliver will be nine months old. I'm actually getting emotional just typing it. I just need time to stop so I can just sit and enjoy him. He is so big already. He loves things like his big truck, Mac and cheese, watermelon and being outside! He has such a big personality and is so smart! You can tell that he is going to be a naturally happy person just like his father. He is sooo heavy I don't know what I'm going to do when he is 2 and wants to be picked up! Every second of everyday I think about him and can't wait to come home every night to play with him. He is an amazing joy in life! 

7 months!

I probably said this in my last post but man time flies! I am just insane with how this could have happened so fast!! I thought life flew by before I had a child but now I know it is flying. I mean wow. Complete shock. Oliver is 7 months old today. He is happy and healthy thank god and so fun! He makes everyday amazing and I can't even imagine not having him. He will grow up to be such a happy positive person just like his daddy!

We are so thrilled everyday to see his smiling face!

Almost 5 months! Already!

Wow. I can't believe how blessed we are. The last 5 months have been a blast and I am so in love. In love with my son with more love than I thought I could be possible and love for my husband for all of his help and support and for how much he loves our son. Everyday is packed full of craziness but it is soo worth it! Summer is coming and we have already started taking him on hikes and he loves being outside! Everyday with him is amazing. He is such a good happy baby and is growing so fast! Already in 12 month old clothes! 

Oliver is 10 days old today!

We have been blessed with the most beautiful little boy and already he is showing us how awesome our lives will be all together. It has been rough because of everyone coming to meet him which means that we have been missin our opportunities to sleep while he sleeps during the day but I have a feeling that we will get a schedule down soon. He is an angel.
